    Photodynamic Therapy
    This is a new method of treating localised skin cancers or pre-cancers. The treatment is very successful with rapid healing and good cosmetic results. A special photosensitising cream is applied to the area and after three hours (during which time you can leave the hospital) a pure red light is shone directly onto the skin. When the cancer is penetrating deeply into the normal tissue a second treatment may be arranged a month after the first.
