Composition:
Triamcinolone Acetonide Inj.............................6 mg/ ml

Indications :
The injectable corticosteroid suspensions are used to treat endocrine disorders, rheumatic disorders, collagen diseases, allergic states, ophthalmic diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, respiratory diseases, dermatological diseases, hematologic disorders, neoplastic disorders, edematous states, nervous system disorders, tuberculous meningitis, and trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement.

Description:
The antiinflammatory actions of corticosteroids are thought to involve lipocortins, phospholipase A2 inhibitory proteins which, through inhibition of arachidonic acid, control the biosynthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes. The immune system is suppressed by corticosteroids due to a decrease in the function of the lymphatic system, a reduction in immunoglobulin and complement concentrations, the precipitation of lymphocytopenia, and interference with antigen-antibody binding.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to triamcinolone acetonide or any of the other ingredients in this preparation contraindicates its use.
