SERAFEN-P

Each tablet contains:

 

Composition:

Serratiopeptidase.............................................................15 mg

Paracetamol....................................................................500 mg

Aceclofenac.....................................................................100 mg

 

Indications : 

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, cervical spondylitis, intervertabral disc syndrome, sciatica, non-articular rheumatic conditions. Post-operative & traumatic inflammations. Painful inflammatory conditions in gynaecology & dentistry. Acute gout.

 

Description:

Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme derived from serratia Spp. Serratiopeptidase binds to alpha-2 macroglobulin in the blood in the ratio of 1:1 which helps to mask its antigenicity but retain its enzymatic activity by hydrolysing bradykinin, histamine, and serotonin. Serratiopeptidase blocks plasmin inhibition thus helping the fibrinolytic activity of plasmin helps clearance of exudate, reduces swelling and improves micro circulation.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Blood coagulation abnormalities disturbance or under treatment with anticoagulants.
 

       

SIDE-EFFECTS: G.I. disturbance like anorexia, gastric discomfort and nausea. Discontinue if hypersensitive symptoms such as eruption appear.

Dosage: As per the physician’s advice.
