Composition:
Diazepam I.P.......................................................................5 mg
Diazepam.....I.P.................................................................10 mg

Indications :
Diazepam has the typical activity spectrum of benzodiazepines encompassing anxiolysis, muscular relaxation, sleep modifying and anticonvulsant effects.

Description:
depress brain stem & connections to the cerebral cortex
antagonize dopamine excitatory receptors

Dosage : Adults : 2.5-10mg 2-4 times daily depending on symptoms and severity. Children : upto 3 yrs: 1-6 mg daily in divided doses. 4-14 yrs: 4-12 mg day in divided doses.
